Description Summary:

Enjoy wild life at the Tambopata National Reserve. This is a day full of adventures.

Full Description:

This Adventure starts early in the morning in Puerto Maldonado. First we will take a short drive to the harbor and then a boat ride for around 45 minutes. After the boat we will take a walk deep into the jungle (about 3 km. or 1.6 miles). Here there will be great chances to spot some animals like macaws, hawks, monkeys, reptiles, etc. After this the canoe ride round the Sandoval lake starts.  The lake is part of the Tambopata National Reserve; this is one of the most important protected areas in the country because here you can find some endangered species like Giant River Otter and the Black Caiman.
