Full Description:

The Night river activity is one of the most silent and peaceful things to do in Puerto Maldonado. For this experience travelers stay on the boat all the time. The river is the prefect place to appreciate the majestic Amazon sunset with the change of colors in the sky.

When the night falls it is the ideal moment to get closer to the riverside to find wildlife. The most common animals are the white caimans and the capybaras (the biggest rodent in the world). Usually they move in packs of 4 or 5.

After the caiman and capybara search, it is time to turn off the boat engine and listen to the night noises of the jungle.

After this activity we will return to Puerto Maldonado.

• Comfortable clothes and shoes.
• Fleece for the boat ride along the river
• Sunblock, hat or cap to protect you from the sun
• Local currency in case you want to buy any souvenir.
