Visit to Machu Picchu
You will get to know in depth the sanctuary of Machu Picchu which is located at 2,430 meters above sea level, in the middle of a tropical forest of mountains, in an extraordinarily beautiful setting. It was probably the most striking urban creation of the Inca Empire in its heyday; its giant walls, terraces and ramps seem to have been naturally cut into the continuous rock escarpments. The natural setting, on the eastern slopes of the Andes, encompasses the upper Amazon basin with its rich diversity of flora and fauna.
